Waterfox G4 uppdaterades till G4.1.3.1 förra månaden och medförde olika korrigeringar. Ungefär samtidigt slutade en mycket viktig funktion i webbläsaren att fungera, möjligheten att använda Firefox Sync.Om du läste min tidigare artikel kanske du vet att jag hade nämnt att jag inte kunde logga in på mitt Firefox-konto på en lite äldre version (4.1.2.1). För de omedvetna finns här en kort beskrivning av problemet. Knappen för att logga in på Sync fungerade och visade sidan där du anger ditt användarnamn, men det var här den gick sönder. När du klickade på Fortsätt-knappen snurrade den bara oändligt utan att fortsätta för att fråga dig om lösenordet, och kunde därför inte slutföra inloggningsprocessen. Uppgradering till 4.1.3.1 löste inte problemet.Jag var inte den enda som stod inför problemet, några användare hade klagat på detsamma på Waterfox reddit-community, och tog också upp enutfärdapå webbläsarens GitHub-webbplats för att söka en lösning för det. Utvecklaren av webbläsaren, Alex Kontos, svarade på feedbacken ochbekräftasatt problemet fanns. Han förklarade att felet orsakades av Firefoxs kontosystem.
